【eNews消息】微软上周发布了面向Windows Server 2003，Windows 2000及Windows XP Professinoal等操作系统的iSCSI软件的初始版本1.0版。

　　这一驱动支持以下操作系统：Windows Server 2003，Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3，Windows XP Service Pack 1及Windows XP 64-bit。

　　Internet工程工作小组于二月份通过了iSCSI规范。这一标准旨在扩展中小商务网络存储的应用能力。这一协议能够通过TCP/IP（传输控制层协议）协议发送本地SCSI指令，允许通过IP网络实现共享存储，使用户可以通过相对廉价的千兆网接入SANs，而不是通过造价昂贵的光纤接入。
